Bangalore Traffic Violation Fine Online

November 26th, 2009

I have previously blogged about this and I realized that the links were not working fine. Thanks to Sudeep who let a comment there about his experience and also how he managed to look into his violation and pay the fine in less than 10 mins.

You can get all your traffic violation fine details at this websitehttp://www.btis.in/ .Next, to pay your fines you have to register at Bangalore-one (http://www.bangaloreone.gov.in/public/bps-info.aspx) & follow simple payment steps & you are done. I just paid mine :-) it hardly took 10 minutes to find out the traffic violation details, registration (Bangalore one)& printing the payment receipt. Hope this helps.

This is true development of the Bangalore municipality and we can very well be sure of the fact that our administrators are aware of the fact that time saved is money earned, (which in turn helps in the development of our nation ;) ). Kudos to Bangalore Police department on successfully completing their project !!

If you are from any other city, like Delhi, Bombay / Mumbai, Kolkotta / Culcutta, Chennai / Madras and if your city has a similar system set up, then do let me know via messages and I’ll write about them as well, so that it benefits others in your city.

Cheers,

The funny thing is I have a violation of supposedly using my mobile when driving… on a day and time when I was not even in the city. Whom do I complain to?

This is going to make peoples lives more miserable unnecessarily. All you need to do is walk into a police station and watch the way the “pen and paper” recordings are entered into Excel… No idea how many false numbers get in here.

@Sham – If you have enough details to say it wasn’t you, then you can go to your nearest police station and get it verified. Are you sure you had not given you bike to anyone else ?

Today I was stopped by police near the Vivekananda Nagar Signal by the traffic police.I asked him why he stopped me.He said that I crossed the signal after the sound.I am fully confident and aware that I crossed the signal when it is green.Still do not understand why he stopped me.I never argue with anyone if I am wrong and admit my mistake.I argued because I was not wrong. He asked my license and said that I should pay fine.He just started arguing irrespective of my mistake.

I asked him that I can pay if he proves it in the camera. He along with the other two constables simply argued, scolded and shouted and noted my number and sent me.Why these police men degrade themselves for the sake of reaching targets. It is very unfortunate that such people create a bad image on the entire department.Where is the justice?

    Hi,

I’am proud to see the hardwork done by Karnataka Police to the Nation.

I’am proud of H.T.Sangliyana,Shankar Bidari etc., service done to the Nation.

This is to inform that on Monday morning (13.12.2010) I just came in correct lane at Nagavara Ring Road.On the lleft side of the road (Manyata Tech Park) there is no entry from 08.00A.M to 12.00 Noon.

I did not go to the route where it is restricted.

When I reached the Nagavara Signal I changed the gear to neutral as the police man was standing.

In order to avoid accident I just took a small right turn without going to the restricted lane and then moved ahead.

One of the police man stopped me and asked for DL and I showed the DL to him.

He told that,” You have voilated the lane disciplane and you should pay RS.100/- as a fine”.

He did not allow to explain what I did in order to avoid accident.

I paid RS.100/- and he to told,” You can go now”.

I went to my house and parked the vehicle and again I went and explained to the other police man and he told to go and speak to him.

The other officer told that .” I will solve the problem”.I was happy and he made a note of my vehicle number in his black burry mobile phone and issued me a copy.

    CRR No.E/14/1113/4498.
    Time :- 11.53.28 A.M.

This is really ridiculous and irritating. If I had voidlate the rules I should have not sent this mail.

I’am ready to go for any test including lie detector.

None of the police man (Except one of the police man) was ready to listen to me and the person who charged RS.100/-as fine said,”Why are you coming again and again and disturbing me?”

I need a justice and if there is public meeting with police regarding the traffice issues I will attend and narrate the same.

I’am really truthful that I have not violated any rules.

Please do the needful. Please also see that this will not affect my carreer as I had being the sincere citizen.

Please help me.Please help me.Please help me.

I think bangalore traffic police are blind, simply issues notice to any vehicle # in order to complete there task .

In my case they have sent a traffic violation notice to my address stating that I had violated a traffic rules on jan 28 th 2011 by entering in an one way @ 10.45 am . I remember since that day was my wife B day , I had taken leave to office and till evening I had not teaken my vehicle outside the garage. Also the place where they had mentioned that I had violated traffic rules is unknown to me ( I had not been to that junction in my life time ).

Really this is a not good . Public should know how easily bangalore traffic police are making money.

I even dodn’t know the place they mentioned, and not been to near electronic city any time by then. How to put a complaint on this?. Its irritating a lot..

I was issued notice for RIDING WITHOUT HELMET and issued by Jalahalli Police Station. Funniest part is I never went to Jalahalli side since I work in Indian Institute of Science and stay in JRD Tatanagar. I was watching TV in my house during that time and I never go out without wearing helmet even for a small distance. I wonder how I got this notice. I am not worried about the fine which I can pay but this offence is forced on me for the mistake which I have not committed. I request the concerned police officer not to put this kind of offence on a law abiding people like us and say that you will be put behind the bars. This act is highy rediculous and dangerous. kindly donot repeat such a thing and put innocent people in trouble.
