Bangalore Traffic Violation Fine Online

November 26th, 2009

I have previously blogged about this and I realized that the links were not working fine. Thanks to Sudeep who let a comment there about his experience and also how he managed to look into his violation and pay the fine in less than 10 mins.

You can get all your traffic violation fine details at this websitehttp://www.btis.in/ .Next, to pay your fines you have to register at Bangalore-one (http://www.bangaloreone.gov.in/public/bps-info.aspx) & follow simple payment steps & you are done. I just paid mine :-) it hardly took 10 minutes to find out the traffic violation details, registration (Bangalore one)& printing the payment receipt. Hope this helps.

This is true development of the Bangalore municipality and we can very well be sure of the fact that our administrators are aware of the fact that time saved is money earned, (which in turn helps in the development of our nation ;) ). Kudos to Bangalore Police department on successfully completing their project !!

If you are from any other city, like Delhi, Bombay / Mumbai, Kolkotta / Culcutta, Chennai / Madras and if your city has a similar system set up, then do let me know via messages and I’ll write about them as well, so that it benefits others in your city.

Cheers,

The funny thing is I have a violation of supposedly using my mobile when driving… on a day and time when I was not even in the city. Whom do I complain to?

This is going to make peoples lives more miserable unnecessarily. All you need to do is walk into a police station and watch the way the “pen and paper” recordings are entered into Excel… No idea how many false numbers get in here.

@Sham – If you have enough details to say it wasn’t you, then you can go to your nearest police station and get it verified. Are you sure you had not given you bike to anyone else ?

Today I was stopped by police near the Vivekananda Nagar Signal by the traffic police.I asked him why he stopped me.He said that I crossed the signal after the sound.I am fully confident and aware that I crossed the signal when it is green.Still do not understand why he stopped me.I never argue with anyone if I am wrong and admit my mistake.I argued because I was not wrong. He asked my license and said that I should pay fine.He just started arguing irrespective of my mistake.

I asked him that I can pay if he proves it in the camera. He along with the other two constables simply argued, scolded and shouted and noted my number and sent me.Why these police men degrade themselves for the sake of reaching targets. It is very unfortunate that such people create a bad image on the entire department.Where is the justice?
