The Simple Way Of Avoiding And Restricting Automatic Logon And Log On As Another User

Most of the PC we use in our home are having the option of “Stay Signed In” activated. So Windows will automatically log on as that specified user when booted up. However, we may need to change the option and sign in as another user rather than the preset user in the registry of the Windows.

To avoid the automatic logon and to sign in as different user is quite easy. By following the simple steps you can do this:

Just hold on the SHIFT key of your Pc/Laptop after logging off Windows or after Windows XP restarts as directed. The SHIFT key has the power of breaking each and every automatic logon setting and it gives you the desired result.

    This does not work for vista or win 7
