Firefox3 Is More Popular Than IE6

Good news to “Open Source Software” lovers. Statcounter, the famous web statistics provider has published global internet usage statistics on the basis of Search Engines, Browsers and Operating Systems including mobile.

According to the statistics based on the usage in last 7 months statcounter global statistics team has concluded that the usage of Firefox 3 is increasing steadily compared to the internet explorer 6 usage. Now Mozilla Firefox 3 is the 2nd most popular web browser after Internet Explorer 7 / IE7.

This is a very good news for all Firefox fans as well as Mozilla foundation. Firefox is fighting hard against the IE, in spite of the strong competition from Safari, Opera and Google chrome. See the chart below.
