Add watermark in MS Word 2003 and 2007
Any official document has some watermark typed in the background to indicate its confidentiality and authenticity. Whenever any official or confidential document is prepared, before handing it over to other people, it is necessary to apply watermark to show the status or the confidentiality of the printed document (or even pdf document). Microsoft Word provides a very easy interface to add watermark in word documents.
In MS Word 2003, if you select the “Format” menu, then select the Background menu-item and then select “Printed Watermark” you can see different watermarks which you can add to the document.
In MS Word 2007, “Page Layout” tab has to be selected and then “Watermark” item in the ribbon should be selected.
