How Can I Unistall Internet Explorer And Revert Back To Internet Explorer 6?

April 29th, 2009

If you do not like Internet Explorer 7 then you can revert back to Internet Explorer 6. But this is possible only in Windows XP and previous versions of Windows, but not on Windows Vista, as Internet Explorer comes as default on Windows Vista and hence cannot be un-installed.

-> Click On ‘start’ menu
-> Go to ‘Control Panel’
-> Click ‘Add or Remove Programs’
-> Search for Internet Explorer 7 and uninstall the program. If in case you do not find Internet Explorer¬† in the programs list, then Click on ‘Run’ from the start menu and type ‘%windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe‘ without quotes.

Once you install Internet Explorer 7, your system will automaticaly roll back to Internet Explorer 6.
