This is one of the common problems. If you have recently upgraded MacAfee or installed it freshly on your system, you’ll notice that it might randomly block some of the images when you visit certain websites.

This normally happens if you visit ‘illegal websites’ or social networking sites. This is a feature of MacAfee known as “Image Analysis” in Parental control section.

When you visit sites like myspace or facebook and want to see someones profile pic, all you’ll see is a box that says MacAfee, and it sometimes works fine if you click on that picture or refresh that page.

To get rid of this problem you need to change MacAfee settings :

1. Open McAfee SecurityCenter by double-clicking the taskbar icon or right-clicking it.
2. Click Parental Controls
3. Click Configure.
4. Click Advanced.
5. From the user list, double click on the user you want to change
6. Turn off Image Analysis
7. Click on OK.

This however is per user based and may not be set for all users using the Computer. Even when you turn off, it will only turn off this feature for that particular user.
