How To Find PUK number of Airtel SIM card/phone.
To keep unauthorized usage of you cell phone from happening, you can set a 3 – 5 character PIN (Personal Identification Number) number on your mobile/cell phone, which will act as the password for accessing sensitive information on your cell phone, and allow access to only those who have the privilege.
You risk locking your phone/SIM card if you enter wrong PIN number three times. If in case you lock your SIM card, then to reopen the lock you’ll have to enter PUK code which will gain back access to your SIM card. Again if you enter wrong PUK code three times, you risk blocking the SIM card completely and the only option for you will be to walk up to your nearest Airtel shop and replace your old SIM card with a new one.
PUK code is a unique code for each SIM card and will be provided by your service provider. To find the PUK number of your cell phone, send this message PUK <PhoneNumber> to 121. Ofcourse, if your cell phone is locked send the message from another number (but it has to be another Airtel number) and you’ll get your PUK number as a reply message on the other number.
Enter the PUK number in your cell phone and you’ll be able to access your cell phone as before.

Just type your mobile number and sent to 785 (EX; 9894111100 to 785)
Shortly u will receive ur PUK code in ur mobile message inbox airtel sim blocked solution.
Default Pin no is: 1234 and 0000

@Birendra – If you want both, PUK and PIN, you have to be the owner of the SIM and if you are, submit a requisition form at airtel customer center and they’ll get back to you within 24 hrs.

@Diya – File a FIR in the nearest police station and take a xerox copy of the complaint and submit it with your cell phone service provider, they’ll give you all the necessary details.

@kus and everyone else – We don’t provide the PUK number. It’s personal to you and you should get it from your service provider by calling them up. Give them all the details you had provided when you registered the SIM card and they’ll help you recover the SIM card. This process is followed to protect your identity.

@Kishore – Please contact your nearest Service center, the’ll give you your puk number or call customer care from another number and validate your identity, then too they’ll be able to help you out.

I want to know if it is possible for anyone to make calls that would appear as being made from my phone number, but not from my SIM card.
Recently I was billed for some calls but I know that it could not have been from my SIM because it was packed away in my custody. There is no way anyone had access to my SIM. Is it possible for anyone to have made those calls without access to my SIM?
@Mark – As far as I know something on that line is not possible. I don’t know of any way where one can misutilize your number in such fashion. If it has happened then I seriously recommend that you get in touch with your service provider and give them exact details of what has happened. Also please keep me informed about what exactly is the issue. I’ll try to write a detailed report about it once you get to the bottom of it.
