I’ve already written about unlocker, a free software which frees a file that’s locked by any application in Windows.

LockHunter is another free program, functionally similar to unlocker. LockHunter helps you analyze the program thats locking the files and hence is a perfect tool to fight malware, if any is holding on to your file.

LockHunter allows you to delete the process into recycle bin, so if you happen to delete a program/application by mistake, you can restore it from recycle bin.

    My old printer will not remove from add& remove window of control panel. I use a Packard Bell XP computor & have little experience of how to fix things . Thank you for your assistance
