Login To Windows 7 Automatically Without A Password

This article is part of auto logon to windows series.

The process to enable auto login / logon in Windows 7 same as that for Windows Vista. The steps are as follows:

1. Click on Start button and choose “RUN”
2. Type “netplwiz” into the run box that appears
3. A box appears with the title “User Accounts”. Choose the user for which you would like to allow automatic login and also uncheck the box that reads “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer”. Click “OK”.
4. Type the user password in the “Automatically Log on” box that appears (this step is optional).
5. Click on “OK” button.
